Specializing in expertly prepared steaks and classic American fare, this culinary gem is a must-visit destination for anyone craving a rich, flavorful meal in an inviting atmosphere.

The menu is a celebration of prime cuts and thoughtful accompaniments. Lunch favorites like the Lunch Salmon Caesar, tossed with crisp croutons and freshly grated Parmesan, crowned with a perfectly grilled salmon fillet, deliver an elegant yet hearty midday option at $22.00. For burger lovers, the Lunch Blue Cheese Bacon Burger delights with an 8 oz patty cooked just right, topped with luscious blue cheese butter and crispy bacon, served with golden fries for $17.00. Those seeking lighter fare can indulge in the Marinated Grilled Chicken, an 8 oz double breast served over fluffy rice pilaf accompanied by steamed broccoli – a simple but flavorful $18.00 choice.

Of course, the star of the show remains their steak and chops offerings. From the succulent 14 oz Ribeye, boasting rich marbling that melts into each bite ($44.00), to the tender and juicy New York Strip at $45.00, every cut is crafted to elevate flavors and textures. The Prime Rib, slow-roasted for 12 hours and served with savory au jus, earns particular praise from regulars who crave its melt-in-your-mouth tenderness. Unique specialties like the Horseradish-Crusted Filet demonstrate the kitchen’s creativity, adding a piquant crust to the classic filet medallions.

Start your meal off with irresistible appetizers such as the creamy, crispy Chicken Pizza Florentine, adorned with creamed spinach, diced tomatoes, jalapeño, and artichokes ($18.00), or the savory Chargrilled Shrimp & Crab Cake pairing jumbo shrimp with a delicate crab cake and herb butter dipping sauce ($24.00). The Spinach Queso & Chips dip offers a comforting blend of melted cheeses and sun-dried tomato tang – an inviting prelude to the main course.

The ambiance at The Chop House is intimate and slightly dimmed, creating a cozy and inviting setting that complements the rich flavors on the plate. Reviews consistently highlight the pleasant atmosphere and thoughtful, attentive service. Guests often mention relaxing on the back patio with stunning views of the Smoky Mountains, which adds an extra dimension to the dining experience, especially during a serene evening.

Customers praise the kitchen’s commitment to quality and freshness, noting that meals are usually served hot and well-seasoned. While one reviewer did mention a rare off-night with a lukewarm spinach artichoke dip, nearly every other testimonial reflects a high standard of culinary excellence and hospitality. Staff are frequently commended for going above and beyond, with mentions of delightful gestures such as complimentary anniversary desserts and signed greeting cards—a testament to the establishment’s dedication to making every visit special.

Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply seeking a dependable, elevated steakhouse meal, The Chop House delivers consistently flavorful dishes in a warm setting with welcoming service. Typically there food is insanely delicious, hot and fresh. Unfortunately last night was a very busy night and we did have to send our spinach artichoke dip back because it was barley lukewarm. My daughter's dries were pale, warm, and not crisp. That said, the food is always good and I know every restaurant has an off night. We just didn't want to complain about everything and we left our waitress a nice tip because she was running her tail off! Also, the baked Boston baked Schrod was delicious! Light but satisfying and better than expected.

They have it light so it's pretty dark in there. The food is great and so is the atmosphere, the employees are nice too.

Everything was 5 star. Great food, stellar service, beautifully decorated for the holidays. Definitely recommend.

Stopped in for dinner and sat on the back patio over looking the smokies…very nice. We were there on a busy Friday evening Shout out to Raven for her excellent service. Although she had several large parties she kept in constant contact with us. We ordered the Rosemary Chicken and the Steak Caesar. The Chicken was cooked to perfection and full of flavor. The Steak was spot on medium rare and excellent. You know your dinning at a top restaurant when the kitchens hammered and the food is top notch. We’ll be back.

For about the fourth week in a row, my wife and I ordered the same thing because it is so darn good! Kitty had grilled chicken, stuffed baked potato and sugar snap peas. I had the dinner pork chop and two orders of sugar snap peas. That’s right I really like the peas. As always, the servers, Jennifer and Addison, were exceptional! Almost as good as the food. We are going to try very hard next week to order something different. But it is not looking likely. Oh by the way, their cheesecake is exceptional.

Phenomenal staff , food , and service! Our Waitress Payton and hostess Melinda went above and beyond! Our hostess Melinda asked us if we were celebrating any special occasion. My husband and I were celebrating our 3rd year anniversary .Melinda brought a happy anniversary card to our table that the Chop House staff had signed. They had also brought a complementary desert to our table ! 100% recommend ! It was the most perfect experience! A big thank you to all the Chop House staff thank you for all your hard work!

Had a late lunch on Mother’s Day. Started off with a cup of sausage and chicken gumbo. Very tasty. Then had a well done steak burger with Swiss cheese, bacon, onions and A1, very flavorful. I would get it again. Also had a side of mashed potatoes.
